We tested out the form-maker, and it’s safe to say that Typeform is a comprehensive survey tool that can handle all their customers’ needs. Typeform greatly simplifies most processes utilized in marketing, lead generation, customer care, HR, and other areas. It is an excellent software addition in any user’s toolbox.

Typeform works wonders as a form maker. It enables users to create dynamic contact forms, surveys, and questionnaires with ease. We found creating questions, and customizing each one was effortless.
We created several types of form, including direct contact forms, questionnaires, satisfaction surveys, and multiple-choice questions. The process for each of these was hassle-free. Even the most basic computer user can comprehend the UI and create beautiful forms.
The forms created using Typeform also force users to focus on responding to one question at a time. This method relaxes users and avoids distractions. It encourages them to ponder responses carefully before answering, leading to a better quality of collected data.
Typeform also provides a free Application Program Interface (API) to integrate several apps, making data collection and analysis easier. Google Sheets, HubSpot, Slack, and Airtable are some of the major apps that can be integrated with Typeform.
Typeform’s extensive collection of templates for every occasion is also a big plus. It makes form creation seem like child’s play. Using these templates, users can send surveys to employees working remotely, register costumers for giveaways, or ask for feedback.

There are around 20 types of questions for users to select from, starting with a Welcome screen, short text questions, long text questions, opinion scales, multiple-choice, phone numbers, and more. They can simply select the type of question, and TypeForm will set the parameters for the answer.
Once users have selected the type of question, they can modify each question to add images/video, decide if it is a required question or not, add a short description, and set a character limit for answers. These features make sure that all the questions are crystal clear, so respondents have no doubts.
We also found the ability to change the color, font, and overall look of our form, within reasonable limits, to be quite useful. There was a broad array of existing themes to choose from, but we could also customize everything on our own.
Logic Jumps were another useful feature. It allows users to create a scenario where a respondent is led to a specific question depending on their answer to a previous one. For example, if a user chose “bad” in response to the question in the above screenshot, then they can be led to a question that asks why.
Once users have created their form, they can share it by using a link, embedding it in a webpage, or adding it to an email. These methods enable quick sharing and responses, making data collection a breeze.
Among Typeform’s best features is the 93+ templates they offer. These templates are used to make the most popular type of forms and can be modified to fit specific situations. These are categorized so users can find the right one quickly.
Once users have chosen a template, they are shown a preview of the visuals and questions in the template. They can go through these questions and decide to use the template or back to the menu and pick another one.
The templates come fully developed with background images, fonts, videos, the types and number of questions, the answers allowed for each question, and so on. All of these can be edited once the template has been applied.
We found choosing a template rather easy, and modifying its elements was also a quick and hassle-free process. Their collection is impressive and made creating a survey uncomplicated. The great visuals were also a plus.
Typeform offers a free account that should be sufficient for most individual users. Free accounts get access to the company’s templates, can create a form on their own using certain types of questions. Some questions, like Payment, for example, are not available for free.
Users with free accounts can create three forms per month with no more than ten questions each, and responses are limited to 100 per month. If users want more features, they can select between 3 paid plans – Essentials, Professional, and Premium. All the paid plans allow users to create unlimited forms with unlimited questions. Users can also add a close date for responses.
The Essentials plan costs $35 per month. This plan unlocks many features that help business owners, such as enabling payments, a calculator for quizzes and payments, file uploads (2 GB storage), customizable Thank You screens, and more. Responses are limited to 1000 per month, and each form can have three or lesser Logic Jumps.
The Professional has all the same features of the Essentials plan, but the response limit is increased to 5,000 per month, and there’s no limit on Logic Jumps. Moreover, it unlocks more personalization fields and marketing features such as the ability to add a Facebook pixel ID and code snippets from Google Tag Manager. It costs $50 per month.
The Premium plan allows 10,000 responses per month (can be increased up to 100,000), and file storage is expanded to 4 GB. Other useful features are the ability to remove Typeform’s branding altogether, set a definite number of responses, priority support, and live chat, along with Salesforce integration. It costs $75 per month.
Typeform’s plans are cleverly divided, with individuals getting sufficient features with the free plan. Small companies can be happy with Essentials and Professional plans, and larger corporations can utilize the Premium plan. Overall, Typeform’s plans are reasonably priced, and their paid options won’t be a burden for individuals or small businesses.
As mentioned above, Typeform does not have a collaboration interface. So, if employees want to team up with their peers to work on form/questionnaire/ survey, then third-part integration is necessary.
Typeform allows for integration only in their paid plans. Integration with popular apps like Slack, Google Sheets, Airtable, and Mailchimp are available for the Essentials plan. Users need to get the Professional or Premium plans to have any sort of detailed integration for sales and purposes.
Facebook pixel, Google Tag Manager, and HubSpot functions can be integrated with the Professional plan. Salesforce integration requires the Premium plan.
This is arguably the most significant downside for individuals and small businesses, as meaningful integrations require them to loosen their purse strings considerably.

The fact that users need to pay for the Premium plan to get Salesforce integration is another point of concern.
