Autumn is an intelligent shopping aggregator that lets you shop for all kinds of products ina single place. Autumn aims to bring shopping into a single app, no matter the kind of product. It also ensures that the experience is not cluttered or complicated. Autumn calls itself the Tinder for shopping.

Autumn aggregates products from over 5,000 stores, including Zara, H&M, Crate & Barrel, ASOS, Target, and more.

Who made it?

Autumn is from Taste Labs, the creator of the popular movie recommendation platform, Taste. Co-founders John Juan Lin and Justin Messina developed Autumn during the COVID-19 pandemic, as a shopping version of their Taste app.

Who is it for?

Autumn is for anybody that wants to shop but does not have the time, energy, or patience to check all the shopping sites. Autumn aims to cut down the time and hassle that usually goes into going from store to store to look for things. It also wants to make online shopping a little more fun.

Key features

  • Over 5,000 Stores — Shop from all kinds of stores, ranging from small boutiques to giant brands
  • Swipe to Like — Swipe and rate things you like to get recommendations for similar products
  • Collaborative Filtering — Data from similar users is used to train the algorithm to give you better recommendations
  • Discover — Find new stores and hidden gems, including fashion, home, and more categories

What does it cost?

The app is completely free to use, and now available on the iOS App Store, and Google Play Store.

Retailers and users can also request to add a store to Autumn, in case it is missing from its directory.

What are the makers saying?

“Give it a spin, but it’s the same idea: swipe & rate the things you like and we match you with more items that you’ll like.

Hopefully, this makes online shopping a little more fun and cuts down the hustle of having to go from store to store to look for things.” John Juan Lin, Founder, Autumn, Taste Labs

What are people saying?

“I tried out the app with wall art and it was interesting to see how quickly it changed and started giving me suggestions I liked. Might have to buy something now!

I feel like the challenge will be to not fall down the AliExpress/Wish path of products.” Vladyslav Chernyshov, Head Of Marketing, SheerME
